We have been married for 6 years and have 2 wonderful kids and hope to be adding more in the future! We are so excited and blessed to see that God is leading us once again to Ethiopia.....only this time to be his full time servants. We hope to be there August 2011. Join our journey as we find out what it is like to raise 3 babes in the 3rd world!
Jackson is our first born and highly opinionated 3 year old. He is sweet and affectionate but loves to run around with all sorts of energy and make his mommy crazy! He is normally found playing with his cars, trucks, and airplanes. He also has found new loves in skating and riding his bike. Jackson is a great big brother and takes this role very seriously.
Olivia is our second child, born in Ethiopia and came home to her forever family last July 2009. To be able to describe her as spunky and energetic would not even begin to fit her sweet personality. She is full of life and constantly happy. She will talk your ear off and at just 20 months old has hundreds of words and sentences.
Baby #3 is our latest addition and we are very excited about his/her arrival sometime this fall. We are so blessed to add another beautiful baby to our family. UPDATED: During the end of first trimester sonogram, we learned we had lost our precious baby. Please pray as we heal from this horrible nightmare and as we try to move forward and grow our little family.
So part of getting ready for living in Ethiopia is selling our house! (Anyone need a house in a Dallas suburb? Seriously? Anyone?) We got this great rental house in the mean time and we are very blessed at how God has given to our family. Here is a tour of our first step in downsizing! (actually its a nice sized house and not really that much smaller than our other house but it doesn't have a dishwasher so I consider it downsizing:) Oh and sorry for the crazy camera work....I am no professional that is for sure.
And our favorite part of the house is this:
that is the side of our house and that is the PARK right next door!!!
and here is a zoomed in picture:
now if it wasn't so stinkin hot all the time.......
Love the park!!! Our kid play right next to our home on the camp's playground :) Very nice to have it close by!
